At Maximus, the Project Manager – Professional Services provides end-to-end project leadership across technical and business initiatives. This position drives work planning, reporting, and process improvement while ensuring projects adhere to established methodologies, quality standards, and client expectations. This is a fully remote position. Requires 20% travel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Develop and track work plans and schedules, including in Microsoft Project. Lead cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues. Lead and implement the design, analysis, interpretation and evaluation of a variety of reports, internal/external resource documents and surveys. Publish results for utilization by internal and external clients, as appropriate. Work with relational database management systems (MS SQL Server) and analytical processing systems; ensure data accuracy and validate all data collection methods used in reporting projects. Recommend establishment of new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information. Evaluate data quality, applications and functions, produce output and maintain reporting operations and documentation. Develop and maintain effective processes for managing requirements, developing business processes and providing production support to the operation.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 5+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Program Specific Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of project management experience
- Waterfall and/or Agile project experience
- Active PMP certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Projects
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.
- Experience with data analytics and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom.

Pay
Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
