Project Manager (IT - Specialized)

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects from initiation through implementation, including planning, requirements gathering, design, testing, integration, and go-live activities.
• Cook up across IT, operations, vendors, and compliance teams to align priorities, resolve issues, and support shared resource planning.
• Develop and maintain project plans, track budgets, monitor risks and dependencies, and provide regular status updates and mitigation strategies.
• Support cloud security and compliance efforts by helping guide projects that implement and secure cloud environments and strengthen security architecture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in the IT security & compliance field.
• 5+ additional years of IT professional experience.
• Some domain knowledge of cloud environments, such as Azure or AWS, and some understanding of cybersecurity concepts including network security, encryption, identity and access management, data protection, cloud architecture, risk management, threat modeling, and defense-in-depth.
• A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle within cloud platforms, along with some understanding of security risk frameworks and industry security standards relevant to cloud computing.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
