Project Manager | Hospitality Construction

About the role

Permanent position located in Winter Haven, FL with an established Florida general contractor specializing in hospitality, education, and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project management activities throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost reporting, and financial performance.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement activities, and contract administration.
• Partner closely with the Superintendent to ensure schedule, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.
• Maintain strong relationships with university representatives, architects, consultants, and trade partners.
• Drive project scheduling efforts and monitor progress against key milestones.

Requirements

• Experience working for an established general contractor.
• Large-scale commercial, education or industrial work required.
• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of project financials, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Experience utilizing Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction management software.
