Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Lead hotel, hospitality, or similar commercial projects with a strong focus on schedule, budget, quality, and client communication.
- Cook up with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members.
- Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules.
- Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, change orders, billing, and financial reporting.
- Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documents.
- Manage subcontractor buyout, scope review, contract coordination, and performance.
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear documentation, meeting minutes, logs, and reports.
- Work closely with Superintendents to support field coordination, issue resolution, and project progress.
- Identify potential schedule, scope, cost, or quality issues and drive solutions proactively.
- Maintain professional communication with clients, design teams, trade partners, and internal leadership.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to company quality standards.
- Support project closeout, including punch lists, warranties, as-builts, final documentation, and client turnover.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and workflows.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience preferred.
- Hotel, hospitality, or similar commercial construction experience strongly preferred.
- General contractor experience strongly preferred.
- Experience managing ground-up commercial construction, renovations, or complex commercial projects preferred.
- Strong ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
- Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and moving parts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, organized, accountable, and client-facing.
- Able to work collaboratively with office and field teams.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field preferred.
