Project Manager - Healthcare

About the role

The successful candidate will manage multiple healthcare construction projects, ensuring quality, client satisfaction, and profitability goals are met. Responsibilities include overseeing project activities, managing staff, maintaining relationships with stakeholders, and preparing and reviewing project reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintains project activity including schedules, spending, and related items to ensure timely and quality completion.
• Notifies Director of Operations of significant project impacts.
• Prepares, completes, or reviews project reports.
• Facilitates and distributes project status meeting minutes.
• Conducts internal staff meetings to disseminate information.
• Ensures accurate and timely procurement of materials.
• Reviews and approves subcontractor and vendor invoices.
• Follows up with the client for timely payment.
• Prepares and submits change orders and invoices.
• Ensures final project closeout documentation is prepared and submitted.
• Builds and maintains relationships with various project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Construction-related field or equivalent work experience.
• 10-15 years of general contractor project management experience.
• Healthcare, Life Science, and Tenant Improvement expertise preferred.
• Strong communication, decision-making, financial analysis, interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Construction-related degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• 10-15 years of general contractor project management experience.
• Healthcare, Life Science, and Tenant Improvement expertise preferred.
• Well-developed communications, decision making, financial analysis, interpersonal, organizational, and team work skills are required.
• Strong ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients and architects is required.
