Responsibilities
- Oversight of the life cycle of each phase of construction projects, remodels, and other special projects.
- Development and design of feasibility studies for review and preparation of various contracts, request for proposals, and reports.
- Coordination and oversight of contractors providing contract services during project execution to ensure requirements are accomplished on time, to the specified quality, and within budget.
- Completion of building and property condition assessments, design of repairs to existing building envelope components including: roofs, curtain walls, masonry, Exterior Insulation and Finishing system (EIFS), and pre-cast concrete.
- Supervision and management of Environment of Care requirements to include, but not limited to, preventative maintenance, equipment testing, system testing, and life safety documentation.
- Leadership and support of team efforts in the execution of projects to ensure performance goals and expectations are met and are on time.
- Review of purchase requisitions and decision-making regarding the most effective/efficient methods of purchase.
- Ensuring requisitions are within authorized allowances and meet all criteria as established by funding agencies and policies and procedures.
- Investigation and negotiation of all long-term contracts on Institute needs and market trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Design, Construction Management, Materials, Property Management, Business Administration, Mechanical, or related field is required.
- Four years of experience in construction, project management, facilities management, or other related field can be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree with a High School degree or GED.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in facilities, consulting, and the management of building envelope projects is required.
- Experience working in commercial or healthcare environments preferred.
Pay
Minimum pay range: USD $64,501.01/Yr.
