Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Partner with estimators and field leadership to plan, schedule, and execute industrial coating and painting projects, including production tracking and progress reporting
- Own job cost control, forecasting, change management, and profit protection throughout the full project lifecycle
- Cookordinate surface prep, coating application, curing, and inspection activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
- Lead pre-job and post-job meetings, aligning scope, safety expectations, staffing plans, and production goals
- Cookordinate with internal teams including Safety, Purchasing, Equipment, and Workforce Dispatch to support efficient project execution
- Provide day-to-day support to onsite supervision and visit job sites as needed to ensure quality, safety, and customer confidence
- Communicate schedule changes, scope updates, and field conditions to customers and internal stakeholders
- Maintain complete and accurate project documentation, including budgets, change orders, production reports, and close-out materials
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering consistent, high-quality industrial coatings work
- Proactively identify and resolve project issues to maintain schedule continuity, quality standards, and safe execution
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and/or relevant project management experience will be considered
- 3-5 years of experience managing industrial paint, coatings, or surface protection projects in industrial, manufacturing, or infrastructure environments
- Strong understanding of job costing, production tracking, and margin management
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards, site coordination, and trade sequencing
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across field teams, customers, and internal departments
- Proficiency in estimating and project management software, as well as Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, contractors, field personnel, and executive leadership
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge of project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and basic accounting principles
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
