Responsibilities
- On-site project meetings
- Review construction contract documents and coordinate with general contractor/owner and sub-contractors, and gather the required information for design scope and shop drawing preparation
- Coincide with other departments to ensure effective communication of job information
- Determine and see that the project runs on the proper schedule
- Expedite information requests and make sure change estimates / change orders are conveyed in a timely manner and are resolved
- Provide a billing breakdown for AIA billings and bill jobs monthly in a timely manner to assure payment
- Project Monthly Report Generation with open change orders
- Punch-list Management
- Issue all closeout documents including certifications & warranty
- As-built/Record Document Procurement
Requirements
- 5 years fire protection and/or project management experience preferred
- 4 year college degree preferred
- Mechanical aptitude is required
- PC skills; Microsoft Windows and Office
- Highly effective networking and relationship building skills
- Must be willing to travel locally/regionally
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Creative and innovative thinking and the ability to work with and manage cross-functional teams
- Work well in a team environment
- Superior communication, organizational and relationship building skills
- Strong personal desire to succeed
Qualifications
- Education and minimum qualifications: 4 year college degree preferred, 5 years fire protection and/or project management experience preferred
