Project Manager

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organizes the project execution team, gathers documentation, and develops necessary action plans to execute projects.
• Reviews project documents, including contracts, plans, specifications, and all related documentation, and tailors project deliverables accordingly.
• Ensures the Customer Support team enters orders into the ERP system.
• Verifies purchase order details with internal colleagues, including scope, price, etc.
• Sends documentation to the Contract Team for review.
• Hosts project kick-off meetings and aligns the project execution team with project deliverables and timelines.
• Serves as the main point of contact for customers, suppliers, and colleagues to effectively execute project deliverables.
• Reviews submittal requirements and technical requirements of the project, ensuring the project execution team develops submittals in accordance with project requirements and timelines.
• Works with third-party vendors to ensure submittals for buyout items are developed in accordance with specifications.
• Upon receiving approved technical submittals from customers, works with the project execution team to ensure all equipment is released to the appropriate parties.
• Maintains continuous contact with customers to manage customer expectations regarding project timeline and deliverables.
• Ensures project execution team receives any necessary testing approvals and works with engineering and operations to determine next steps if testing is not approved.
• Ensures project execution team develops O&Ms in alignment with project requirements and schedule and ensures project execution team ships, delivers, and bills equipment in accordance with delivery and invoicing plans.
• Works with freight forwarders to understand estimated delivery timelines and adjusts if needed.
• Coordinates start-up and commissioning services and ensures project execution team bills in accordance with invoicing plans.
• Creates project handovers to aftermarket for further aftermarket support.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with PMP (or similar designation) preferred
• 3-5+ years’ of relevant experience in project management, preferably in water, industrial, construction, or mining environments
• Experience managing field-based technical projects, coordinating cross-functional crews, and working directly with equipment, infrastructure, or site operations in fast-paced, rugged settings
• Willingness and ability to provide superior customer support at all times
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
• Effective interpersonal skills with customers, coworkers, and management team
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the use of computer applications

PAY & BENEFITS

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
