Project Manager
The project manager is the individual responsible for planning & executing the projects within established parameters. The individual leads and influences the project team, with authority and responsibility from leadership, to run the project on a day-to-day basis from inception to customer acceptance.
Operating within agreed reporting structures
- Applying appropriate project management methods to ensure timely execution of project deliverables while meeting or exceeding internal profitability metrics
- Motivating internal stakeholders toward execution of project as defined
- Managing project risks, including the development of contingency plans
- Monitoring overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary
- Applying change control processes as applicable
- Reporting on projects progress and end-stage assessments
- Maintaining an awareness of potential interdependencies with other projects and their impact
- Applying appropriate technical and quality strategies and standards
- Identifying and obtaining support and advice required for the management, planning and control of the project
- Clearly communicating project needs and updates to both internal and external customers

Vice-President Corporate Development / Ownership
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of previous Project Management experience
- Engineering or Technical Degrees are preferred, but applicants demonstrating equivalent work experience will be considered
- Electrical or mechanical aptitude is desired
- Strong communicator, both verbally and written, will interface with customers and vendors on a routine basis
- Ability to understand technical specifications and contract documents (RFQ, PO, T&C’s) with experience identifying clarification and exception responses
- Experience preparing cost estimates and proposals a plus
- This role requires up to 25% travel
Pay Range
$105,000 - $135,000 per year based on experience, education, skills and qualifications.
