Project Manager

The Project Manager

This role involves normal involvement in a project life cycle, typically starting with the Sales team. Duties include:

• Estimating and solicitation of subcontractor proposals
• Scope definition and project timeline scheduling
• Auxiliary in presentations and review of proposed contracts and terms
• Systems design coordination with Design, Controls, Software, suppliers, and selected subcontractors
• Coordination with customers for successful project outcomes

Job Functions

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing proposals, contracts, and new orders for accuracy and addressing commercial and technical issues
• Documenting assumptions as part of proposals (ensuring inclusion in contracts)
• Estimating and directing internal Toyota Automated Logistics resources for project completion
• Maintaining positive cash flow and managing project files
• Following up on past due invoices and archiving project files
• Representing Toyota Automated Logistics and managing project schedules
• Communicating with site supervisors and supporting them in the field

Preferred Skills And Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Previous project management experience
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Visio)
• Experience with MS Project
• Background in Material Handling, Robotics, Manufacturing, or Packaging
• Understanding of Engineering, Manufacturing, and Material Handling industries
• Energetic, ambitious, and hardworking personality
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship
