About the role
The Project Manager will lead cradle-to-grave project management oversight of the engineering, manufacturing, delivery and installation of nuclear and fossil power plant upgraded equipment.
Responsibilities
- Establish effective communication with partners regarding regular project updates, design reviews, factory testing, and witness points.
- Develop Plans to deliver Quality and Risk Management for the project.
- Implement Zero-Harm directives for overall project safety performance.
- Maintain and control project financials including emergent contract issues, change orders, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related, or higher degree.
- 5+ years experience in customer relationship management and previous project management experience demonstrating capabilities in implementing large, complex, high-value projects.
- PMP or IPMA Certification or successfully complete IPMA certification within two years of work!
Qualifications
- Proficient understanding of overall design, installation and operational complexities of steam turbines, generators, gas turbines and their auxiliary systems.
- Candidate must be able to gain unescorted access to nuclear power plants!
