Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end order fulfillment process, from initial customer request to final delivery.
- Ensure all customer orders are processed accurately and in accordance with company policies and timelines.
- Cook up with production and inventory teams to ensure product availability aligns with customer delivery requirements.
- Manage the logistics of shipments to ensure on-time delivery, working closely with the logistics and warehouse teams.
- Track and monitor shipments, proactively addressing any delays or issues, and communicate status updates to customers.
- Partner with third-party logistics providers, if necessary, to optimize shipping costs and timelines.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding order and shipment inquiries.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Ensure clear and timely communication with customers on order changes, delays, or issues that could impact delivery schedules.
- Identify and address any discrepancies or challenges that may arise in the order or shipment process.
- Work with internal teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently while minimizing customer impact.
- Analyze root causes of recurring issues and implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Lead cross-functional projects focused on optimizing order fulfillment and shipment processes.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Monitor key performance metrics related to orders and shipments (on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, etc.).
- Prepare reports for senior leadership highlighting performance, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Use data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of order management and shipment processes.
- Experience working in customer-facing roles with a proven ability to manage customer relationships.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and ERP systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- PMP or CAPM certification preferred.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
- Experience with digital automation or AI-driven processes in order and shipment management preferred.
