Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution of product development programs.
- Provide technical leadership across cross-functional and global project teams throughout all phases of development.
- Serve as the primary communication interface with Program Management, providing updates on project status, schedules, and risks.
- Plan and lead internal meetings to track project progress, assign action items, and maintain schedule alignment.
- Collaborate with internal and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of key project components.
- Communicate resource needs proactively to maintain project timelines and mitigate delays.
- Ensure projects align with financial targets, including capital requests, product costing, and scope management.
- Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Oversee capacity planning to ensure supply capabilities meet forecasted demand.
- Establish systems and processes required for product ordering and manufacturing readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field from a four-year institution.
- 3+ years of project management experience, preferably within the connector or electronics manufacturing industry.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems in low-standardization environments.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with global teams across multiple regions.
Pay
Compensation for the Project Manager includes:
- Salary range: $60,000 - $100,000 annually
