Responsibilities
- Safety - Proactively places a high priority on safety at all times and ensures safety audits are performed regularly.
- Preconstruction - Participates in the preconstruction phase to ensure all aspects of project management are set up for success.
- Defect Prevention and Quality Control - Ensures defect prevention, quality control, and assurance plans are in place and continues these responsibilities throughout the warranty period.
- Leadership and Supervision - Provides leadership to the project team, develops professional relationships, and supports career development.
- Planning, Scheduling and Procurement - Maintains and implements the project schedule, obtains necessary permits, and ensures materials are available.
- Contract Administration - Evaluates and negotiates subcontract and supplier proposals, prepares and administers contracts, and ensures compliance with occupancy certificate processes.
- Cost Control - Establishes and maintains project cost control, monitors budgets, and prepares monthly cost-to-complete and margin analyses.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience in commercial construction, with progression demonstrating increasing responsibility, complexity, and scope.
- Last 5 years of experience must be in recreation centers, municipal, technical facilities, or education markets.
- OSHA 30-hour certification every 3 years.
- Holds a Class A Contractor Supervisor Certificate in a Pinkard’s marketplace.
- LEED accredited.
- Demonstrated experience in senior living, affordable housing, and multifamily mid-rise commercial construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and leading effective presentations for new projects.
Qualifications

Pay
The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $144,000 + Profit Sharing + Performance-based Incentive Bonus + Vehicle Allowance. Actual base pay will be determined by several components including relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
