Position Summary
Aid the Our Brands Project Manager in product development and OB category business plans to deliver results within established timelines. Support the new item process including sourcing for cuttings and data entry. Represent PLM and suppliers to Kroger, facilitating communications with various stakeholders.
Essential Job Functions
- Support Our Brands Project Managers throughout the New Item Process
- Communicate with key stakeholders including OB leadership, Merchandising, Manufacturing, and Suppliers
- Lead the commercialization of projects as outlined in business plans, collaborating with ASP, PCOE, and Merchandising Teams
- Execute new item setup and supplier communication in collaboration with ASP, PCOE, and Merchandising Teams
- Communicate relevant project details with division support
- Assist CSM with delivering a total product experience meeting category and customer expectations
- Actively promote OB's mission, vision, and goals, driving strategic thinking to communicate OB's vision across the enterprise
Minimum Position Qualifications
- 4-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in Business, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, or Economics
- 2+ years of retail grocery experience, preferably in merchandising
- Understanding of Corporate Brands and their role in Kroger's strategy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to learn and use multiple computer systems and web-based applications
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills
- Effective organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Motivated self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, prioritize, and multitask
Minimum Physical Abilities
- Remain standing/sitting for several hours at a time
- Lift 10-15 lbs. occasionally
Preferred Previous Job Experience
- A blend of grocery merchandising and data analysis experience
- Minimum of 2 years' grocery experience in a merchandising capacity
