Project Manager
About the role
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as backup to the Senior Project Manager, manage projects end-to-end, and assist with project-related accounting, billing, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Serve as backup to the Senior Project Manager, tracking project milestones, filings, permits, approvals, and occupancy updates.
- Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring quality control, timely deliverables, and accurate records.
- Review new projects, gather required information, and prepare municipality applications (filings, permits, objections, variances).
- Facilitate team communication, including with the Assistant Project Manager, and provide guidance or training to personnel.
- Make timely decisions, solve problems, and provide leadership while maintaining strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Attend city/jurisdictional meetings, understand regulations, and represent the company professionally.
- Collaborate with design/development teams and interpret plans, maps, and construction documents.
- Aid in project-related accounting, billing, and reporting.
- Travel to client sites or municipal agencies as needed.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in the construction or permitting industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, urban planning, engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Knowledge of Microsoft software.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred
- Experience with municipal permitting processes and compliance.
- Familiarity with client-facing consulting roles.
Work Environment & Schedule
This position is based in Beverly Hills, CA, with a hybrid schedule. Standard working hours are 40 hours per week. Travel to client sites or municipal agencies as required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $70,000 – $80,000, based on knowledge, skills, and experience.
