Responsibilities
- Act as the main liaison between the client, design team, consultants, and subcontractors throughout all phases of the project
- Lead and manage all aspects of project administration, including document control, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and closeout documentation
- Prepare, review, and track project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports in coordination with senior leadership and accounting teams
- Oversee and execute all project financial controls, including managing owner and subcontractor change orders, billing, receivables, lien releases, and subcontractor payments
- Develop and maintain the project schedule in collaboration with the Superintendent, ensuring alignment with phasing, long-lead items, and procurement timelines
- Partner with field staff to coordinate daily construction activities, monitor quality, and mitigate delays or disruptions
- Identify and manage project risks, delays, and claims by maintaining detailed records, documenting potential impacts, and communicating timely updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate with Senior Project Manager or Project Director on project strategy, staffing, and high-level decision making
- Manage multiple concurrent projects up to approximately $10M in value, or serve as the primary Project Manager on a larger-scale project with a focus on financials, administration, and document management
- Interface with Superintendents (Super 2 or above) on field execution for complex or logistically challenging projects
- Ensure full compliance with contract requirements, company policies, and safety standards throughout the duration of the project
- Maintain strong communication with all project stakeholders and provide regular updates on progress, issues, and action plans
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction; interiors or high-end occupied spaces preferred
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, including work in active or occupied environments
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in reading and interpreting commercial construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety and Health Certification preferred
- 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User Certification preferred
- Computer Systems: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Procore (preferred but not required), and Timberline (preferred but not required)
