Project Manager

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in Estimating process which may include take off, pricing self-perform work, schedule development, constructability review, vendor communication, and closeout
• Schedule Development
• Budget Feasibility Study and Control
• Estimate
• Subcontractor and Vendor buyout, including negotiating scope and schedule for contract inclusion
• Compliance with Documentation Requirements
• During Construction
• Making sure the project progresses according to plan
• Working closely with the project superintendent
• Commercial Management
• Notifying the owner of contract changes in scope
• Preparing change orders and claims
• Corresponding and negotiating with clients and subcontractors
• Cost Control
• Planning ahead based on budget data
• Job Team Cost Reviews
• Corporate Reporting and Reviews
• Trimester Reforecasts
• Schedule Updates with Narratives, Time Impact Analysis Narratives
• Subcontractor and Vendor Relations
• Invoice Approval
• Site Staff Personnel Management
• Making sure compliance with quality and safety standards
• Making sure compliance with client policies and regulations

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience preferably in heavy highway civil construction
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or similar degree
• Strong Technical and Analytical Background in Construction
• PREFERRED: Experience with software such as HeavyJob, HeavyBid, Procore, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, BIM, and Fieldwire

Compensation

Compensation Range: $130,000- $180,000
