Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of organizational projects, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, risk assessments, and progress reports.
- Cook up cross-functional teams, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring effective communication throughout each project.
- Aid the Events Manager with tracking and coordinating tasks such as webinars and virtual events, registration, logistics, timelines, budgeting etc
- Oversee the development and production of CCPC publications, including book development projects, by coordinating contributors, editors, designers, and production timelines.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and resource allocation.
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues to keep projects on track.
- Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas and meeting notes, and provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with communications, creative, and campaign teams to ensure projects align with organizational priorities and strategic objectives.
- Establish project success metrics and KPIs, monitor and evaluate project outcomes, gather stakeholder feedback, document lessons learned, and recommend process improvements to enhance future project delivery.
- Develop and refine project management processes, templates, and workflows to improve organizational efficiency.
- Support additional operational and strategic projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation required.
- Minimum of three years of professional project management experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience coordinating events, webinars, or stakeholder engagement initiatives is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and remote teams.
- Proficiency with project management software and collaboration tools such as Asana, Monday.com, Trello, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
