About the role
The Project Manager is a key member of the G Fedale team, responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects while maintaining high standards of customer service and workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Creates and executes a schedule of planned visits to project sites.
- Contacts homeowners with approved contracts and schedules visits.
- Visits project sites, confirms measurements and materials, and clarifies issues with homeowners.
- Determines pre-project gross margin and updates DataForma with estimates.
- Orders materials and updates systems as needed.
- Updates project schedule score, pre-job margins, and budgets.
- Ensures timely project starts and monitors progress.
- Communicates with customers and resolves issues.
- Secures final payments and documents punch list items.
- Closes projects and files customer folders.
- Analyzes pre- and post-project margins and implements strategies for improvement.
Requirements
- A high school degree.
- Additional training in construction skills, estimating, and customer service is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in home building, remodeling, or renovation markets as a skilled tradesman or project manager.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and work with construction contracts.
- Demonstrated knowledge of home insurance and claims processing.
- Strong 4-function math skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including mobile access to a service-oriented CRM system.
- Outstanding customer service skills, including the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.

Physical Demands
- The ability to walk, climb stairs, sit for extended periods, stand for long periods, work at a desk, drive to meetings, operate computers and phones, open/close file cabinets, bend/stand as necessary, set up and use an extension ladder, safely climb on, navigate around, and descend from residential and commercial roofs, and lift up to 80 pounds.
