Project Manager

Position Description

The Project Manager will support Fortis Industries and report to the Program Manager. This position is 100% onsite.

Position Duties

• Coordinate the completion of projects on time within budget and within scope of work
• Set deadlines, goals, and milestones
• Assign responsibilities and employee duties and monitor project progress to identify efficiencies
• Verify and responsibility on reports being sent to the government and Fortis leadership on all activities
• Prepare reports for corporate leadership regarding status of project, not limited to employee schedules, tracking of complete Service & Task Orders, Safety & OSHA compliance, etc
• Coordinating the submittal effort with subcontractors and material suppliers to ensure accuracy
• Ensure financial thresholds are maintained on all contract related activities

Experience Requirements

• At least 5 years experience in managing a workforce providing mechanical services
• HVAC & Mechanical experience (required)
• OSHA 30-Hour certification (preferred)
• QCM certification (preferred)
• EM 385-1-1 certification (preferred)
• CPR/ First Aid certified (preferred)
• Experience with MCMMS (preferred)

Pay

$80,000 - $90,000 a year

Qualifications

Must pass both a detailed background check, including a GSA suitability determination and a pre-employment drug screening prior to hire. Must remain in compliance as a condition of employment.
