About The Role
The Project Manager leads cross-functional initiatives that drive infrastructure and product delivery across engineering, product, and design teams. This role sits at the intersection of technical execution and operational efficiency, translating complex product requirements into actionable, structured roadmaps. Operating in a fully remote capacity, the role focuses on unblocking engineering teams, establishing clear sprint cadences, and managing risk profiles across concurrent high-priority launches. Success is measured by the predictability, quality, and velocity of shipping technical products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycles for technical software initiatives using Agile/Scrum methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, backlog grooming, and retrospective meetings for engineering cohorts.
- Define and track key project performance metrics, including velocity, burn-down rates, resource allocation, and milestone delivery dates.
- Identify cross-functional dependencies, proactively mitigate project risks, and resolve delivery bottlenecks across distributed teams.
- Establish structured documentation and communication channels to report project health and timeline changes to executive stakeholders.
- Partner with Product Management to translate raw product requirements (PRDs) into defined engineering tasks and epics.
What We Are Looking For
- 4-7 years of technical project management experience within a fast-paced software development environment.
- Demonstrated mastery of JIRA, Confluence, and modern project mapping tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, or Linear).
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and modern cloud-based system architectures.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to keep distributed teams aligned.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline.
- Bonus: PMP or CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification, and prior experience working in a fully remote engineering organization.
