Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and deliver projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
  • Acquire resources and coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants.
  • Define project objectives, oversee quality control, and manage invoicing and accounts receivable.
  • Represent CESO in all project-related communications with clients.
  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of architecture and engineering projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Manage project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams and ensure technical quality, schedule adherence, and financial performance.
  • Develop and monitor project work plans, including task assignments and deliverables.
  • Prepare contracts, change orders, fee proposals, and client billing.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, standards, and client requirements.
  • Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead internal project meetings and client presentations; prepare progress reports and other project documentation.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal development and project interviews.
  • Responsible for billing, invoicing the project, and managing accounts receivable in collaboration with the accounting department.
  • Supervise direct reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 4 years of experience directly managing projects in a design and construction related field is preferred; Or 10 years related experience and/or training is required.
  • Professional Licensure (RA, PE, PS, RLA) is preferred.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • Computer skills necessary to enter daily timesheet data and use Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite products, Deltek, and Newforma.
