Project Manager
About The Role
As a CBRE Project Management Lead, you will direct the support provided to project management operations, administration, and management for projects from start through completion. This job is a part of the Project Management functional area that manages projects from initiation through completion.
What You’ll Do
- Audit reporting on key performance indicators.
- Create project policies and directives within the operations manual.
- Function as the subject matter expert of the internet-based project tracking system, project websites, and job cost accounting system.
- Respond to internal and external escalated customer inquiries about performance reports and project tracking system data.
- Assist project management teams with the implementation and monitoring of the adherence to complex project administrative practices and policies.
- Assist project team in project close-out procedures.
- Serve as project team point of contact to the D&T department on tracking desktop hardware and software issues.
- Train new administrative assistants and temporary employees on project policies and administration.
- Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.
- May establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives.
- Has a direct impact on the team objectives as well as the objectives of related teams.
- Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
- Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures.
- Work to build consensus.
What You’ll Need
- A High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience.
- Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
- In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.
- Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset.
- Exceptional math skills. Ability to calculate sophisticated figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
