Project Executive

Brief Description

The Project Executive (PX) role involves shaping projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality standards are met. Key responsibilities include guiding project teams, making critical decisions, championing company standards, and developing a high-performing team.

Oversee Multiple Concurrent Commercial Projects

• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to MCL’s quality standard
• Guide owners, architects, and project teams from preconstruction through closeout
• Make calls on risk, resources, and people to ensure project outcomes
• Elevate standards and processes across all teams touched
• Drive financial performance across the portfolio

Lead and Develop Your People

• Mentor and develop project managers, superintendents, and emerging leaders
• Build a winning team that generates repeat work and grows careers
• Set a positive cultural tone: accountability, direct communication, and excellence
• Foster alignment across Safety, Quality, Accounting, and field teams

Drive the Business Forward

• Build and sustain long-term client relationships
• Lead pursuit strategies, proposals, and interview processes
• Contribute to company strategy, market growth, and long-term direction

The Right Fit

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering (preferred)
• 10+ years of commercial construction experience, including 5+ years in a Project Manager role
• Proven track record in client development
• Strong experience leading pursuits, proposals, and client presentations
• Advanced leadership skills and proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
