Project Engineer - Water
About the role
This position involves water and wastewater management tasks including pumping, storage, collection, treatment, and facility improvements.
Responsibilities
- Water distribution including pumping and storage
- Sewer collection including pumping
- Water and wastewater treatment plants
- Improvements and retrofitting of existing treatment facilities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, biological, or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Registered as an Engineer Intern (EI)
- 4+ years' experience in water & wastewater
- Previous internship experience related to design of water/wastewater systems
- Strong communications skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in civil, biological, or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
- AutoCAD experience
- Registered as a Professional Engineer or ability to become a registered PE within 6 months of hire
- Experience in study, design, and construction administration of water and wastewater facilities and systems
