Responsibilities
- Understands and applies knowledge of configuration management.
- Performs engineering calculations using applicable software programs (e.g. Matlab, Excel, etc.).
- Plays a role in planning, organizing, and managing projects.
- Develops and exercises leadership skills.
- Makes effective decisions and communicates effectively (including technical writing).
- Analyzes information and solves complex problems.
- Interprets codes, regulations, and practices.
- Works independently or in a team environment.
- Processes information quickly and manages multiple tasks.
- Serves as the Safety Committee Representative for the OSS team and handles all Aconex review responsibilities.
- Consolidates all OSS documents into workflow (including as-built drawings).
- Advises on assigning reviewers for new workflow initiations.
- Keeps track of overdue workflows and sends reminders.
- Closes all open comment sheets related to old/finalized documents.
- Provides weekly updates (reports).
- Maintains the call coverage roster.
- Owns the shared team calendar.
- Owns the OSS action tracker.
- Manages the OSS team SharePoint page.
- Manges Change Orders.
- Supports budget management for the OSS contract.
- Conducts risk analysis.
- Supports Semco inventory management.
- Drives key discussions and warehouse walk-throughs.
- Creates an integrated tracking method onto external SharePoint.
- Created a job aid for using the tracking method.
- Tracks existing NCRs (non-conformity reports)/TQs (technical queries) progress weekly.
- Adds new NCRs/TQs for the engineering team to validate weekly.
- Attends working calls to resolve NCRs/TQs.
- A minimum of an associate’s degree.
- An engineering degree is preferred.
- Knowledge and application of engineering theories and principles, concepts, and fundamentals.
- Competency in applying engineering principles, fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures requiring some evaluation, originality, and/or ingenuity to achieve project objectives.
