Nikkiso ACD specializes in engineering and manufacturing machinery designed to operate at cryogenic temperatures as low as –420°F, the boiling point of liquid hydrogen. For over 50 years, Nikkiso ACD has led the industry in centrifugal and reciprocating pumps as well as turbines for air separation, offering the most diversified product line covering nearly every application requiring pumps or turboexpanders.
About the role
The Project Coordinator ensures the seamless execution of assigned projects, serving as a proactive, cross-functional bridge between departments. The ideal candidate will actively resolve bottlenecks, accelerate timelines, and align production, planning, procurement, and engineering to guarantee project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Actively monitor project milestones and deploy across internal departments to resolve execution delays.
- Production Acceleration: Embed with the production team to identify bottlenecks, reallocate focus, and assist in getting timelines back on track if manufacturing falls behind schedule.
- Material & Supply Chain Integration: Collaborate closely with Planning and Expediters to ensure material requirements are met. Proactively pull, organize, and ready parts for immediate production deployment if parts are unfilled.
- Vendor & Procurement Intervention: Partner with the Procurement team to monitor supplier timelines. When vendors fall behind, actively intervene by auditing lead times and driving accountability to secure critical project updates and deliveries.
- Project Controls & Meeting Leadership: Coordinate project activities with a strict focus on schedule, budget, and proactive risk mitigation. Lead or participate in contractor meetings to give and receive feedback.
- Documentation & Data Validation: Manage critical project documentation, ensuring submittals, file validation, and document control meet exact formatting and compliance requirements for error-free, punctual delivery.
- Assist with implementation and tracking of project budgets and schedules.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with MS Project is preferable.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
- May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk, hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Overtime may be necessary, including weekdays, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. may be required.

Pay
$26.00 - $34.00 per hour
