Project Coordinator III

Location: Redmond, WA • Duration: 12 months • Compensation: $29–$49/hour • Work authorization: US Citizen, GC holders, or authorized to work in the U.S.

About the role

The Project Coordinator III supports hardware development programs by coordinating engineering workstreams, project schedules, prototype builds, deliverables, suppliers, and international shipments. The role works closely with Program Managers, Technical Leads, Engineers, Finance, Purchasing, and external development partners in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment where international shipments can be high priority and require urgency and proactive follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Track projects in Jira within an engineering/development environment.
• Manage schedules, action items, and deliverables.
• Coordinate international shipping and receiving, with a focus on Asia.
• Track Statements of Work (SOWs) and supplier deliverables.
• Support purchasing activities and maintain engineering documentation.
• Create dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
• Build schedules, work breakdown structures, and support resource planning.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in project coordination or program management.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent education in a related field.
• Experience with international shipping, logistics, and receiving (Asia experience highly preferred).
• Strong project scheduling and task/deliverable tracking skills.
• Experience coordinating multiple suppliers or external partners.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to work proactively and independently.

Nice-to-have skills

• New Product Introduction (NPI) or consumer hardware experience.
• Understanding of consumer electronics design and development processes.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Hardware or consumer electronics background.
• Previous experience at FAANG companies (e.g., Apple, Amazon).
• Experience in aerospace, defense contracting, or similar hardware-intensive industries.
