PROGRAM TECHNICIAN II
About the role
The Program Technician II position involves processing more complex program specialist work, while the Program Technician I handles less complex tasks. Both positions identify and report suspected fraudulent claims/activities to management.
Responsibilities
- Process detailed and technical forms, files, etc., associated with multiple departmental programs or program areas.
- Review and/or process detailed and semi-technical forms, files, etc., associated with a specialized departmental program.
- Provide sensitive and detailed program information and/or direction to the public, employees, employers, medical providers, other public jurisdictions, or clients.
- Identify and report any suspected fraudulent claims/activities to management or their designee.
- Perform duties for other specialized work or projects.
- Demonstrate awareness of the Department and Branch vision, mission, values, and goals.
Requirements
Positions exist in San Joaquin County. Specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees may see a salary reduction between 2% - 4.62% in exchange for hours in the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025).
Qualifications
Minimum requirements include education and experience as outlined in the Classification Specification. Additional documents required for consideration include the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678 and application package.
