PROGRAM TECHNICIAN II
About the role
The Program Technician I/II position is responsible for processing various forms, files, and tasks associated with multiple departmental programs or program areas. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, with occasional review of work and the ability to identify and report suspected fraudulent claims/activities.
Responsibilities
- Reviews and processes detailed and technical forms, files, etc., associated with multiple departmental programs or program areas.
- Reviews and processes detailed and semi-technical forms, files, etc., associated with a specialized departmental program.
- Provides sensitive and detailed program information and/or direction to the public, employees, employers, medical providers, other public jurisdictions, or clients as a significant part of their duties.
- Identifies and reports any suspected fraudulent claims/activities to management or their designee.
- Performs duties for other specialized work or projects.
Requirements
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid California driver's license and reliable transportation. Must have a good driving record and pass a background check. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible clerical experience. Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Must have experience with computerized systems and databases. Must have strong organizational and time management skills. Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to handle confidential information.
