Make a difference in your community and help support farmers, ranchers, and producers nationwide as a Program Technician with USDA’s Farm Service Agency! Positions are available in Franklin, TX (Robertson County), Plainview, TX (Hale County), and Seguin, TX (Guadalupe County).

Responsibilities
- Receive extensive on-the-job training to develop proficiency in all functions and operations of the assigned Field Office.
- Provide clerical support, loan processing and servicing, office management, general information, and public relations.
- Assist the Farm Loan Chief, Farm Loan Branch specialists, Farm Loan team managers, and District Directors on farm loan program procedural matters.
- Participate in training to individuals and groups in the preparation and processing of loan documents and loan procedural changes.
- Provide technical assistance to the Branch team in processing bankruptcy and farm foreclosure cases.
- Prepare and discuss new promissory notes, terms, and deeds of trust with borrowers.
- Determine need for additional information or contacts as necessary.
