About the Role
This is an onsite opportunity to join a dynamic Lottery team in Rancho Cucamonga, San Bernardino County, as part of a growing prize payment program to enhance the customer experience. The Customer Service Technician is a member of the Finance team and performs specialized semi-technical duties in service to Lottery winners, players, and retailers. This position also handles routine, semi-technical tasks related to the validation and payment of claims for California State Lottery prizes.

Responsibilities
- Perform specialized semi-technical duties to support Lottery winners, players, and retailers.
- Validate and process payments for California State Lottery prize claims.
- Assist in enhancing the customer experience within the prize payment program.
Requirements
- Current Program Technician exam eligibility (or ability to obtain it).
- Clearance of a Background Investigation prior to hiring, as required by the California State Lottery Act (no felony or gambling-related offense convictions).
- If basing eligibility on education, provide transcripts and/or a diploma. Applicants with foreign transcripts must submit a transcript evaluation indicating equivalent units. Transcripts may be unofficial at the application stage but official transcripts will be required upon appointment.
