Program Supervisor (Full Time) - Syracuse & Surrounding areas - $21.00/hr.

About the role

The Program Supervisor at Toomey Residential and Community Services is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of a residence and providing positive role modeling to individuals receiving services. They also provide support and supervision to Direct Support Professionals.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the efficient operation of a residence
• Provides positive role modeling to individuals receiving services to achieve daily goals and objectives
• Provides support and supervision to Direct Support Professionals in their work and relationships with individuals living in a group home setting
• Aids in the development of day, residential, activity and behavioral habilitation plans
• Promotes and ensures a safe and positive environment

Requirements

• Must be 21 years' old and have a valid NYS driver's license with 4 points or less
• High School Diploma or GED required with 3 years relevant experience
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in another human service area or in a health care field preferred
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous supervisory experience preferred

Qualifications

• To successfully complete the OPWDD fingerprinting clearance
