Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient operation of a residence.
• Provide positive role modeling to individuals receiving services to achieve daily goals and objectives.
• Provide support and supervision to Direct Support Professionals in their work and relationships with individuals living in a group home setting.
• Assist in the development of day, residential, activity and behavioral habilitation plans.
• Ensure staff are informed of and follow care plans.
• Promote and ensure a safe and positive environment.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid NYS driver's license with 4 points or less.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in another human service area or health care field (preferred).
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Previous supervisory experience (preferred).
• Ability to successfully complete OPWDD fingerprinting clearance.
