Program Supervisor (Full Time) - Children's Community Residence - Baldwinsville - $22.50/hr.

About the Role
The Program Supervisor ensures the efficient operation of the residence and provides positive role modeling to individuals receiving services to achieve daily goals and objectives. The Program Supervisor also provides support and supervision to Direct Support Professionals in their work and relationships with individuals living in a group home setting. Assists in the development of day, residential, activity, and behavioral habilitation plans. Ensures that staff are informed of and are following care plans and promotes a safe and positive environment.
This is a residential program working with children ages 7-14 in a residential mental health facility.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the efficient operation of the residence.
- Provide positive role modeling to individuals receiving services to achieve daily goals and objectives.
- Support and supervise Direct Support Professionals in their work and relationships with individuals.
- Assist in the development of day, residential, activity, and behavioral habilitation plans.
- Ensure staff are informed of and follow care plans.
- Promote and ensure a safe and positive environment.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years old.
- Valid NYS driver's license with 4 points or less.
- High School Diploma or GED required with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, in another human service area, or in a health care field preferred.
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Required to successfully complete the OMH fingerprinting clearance.
