Program Supervisor (Full Time) -$500 hiring incentive - Baldwinsville - $21.00/hr.

About the role

The Program Supervisor ensures the efficient operation of a residence, and provides positive role modeling to its individuals receiving services to achieve daily goals and objectives. They also provide support and supervision to Direct Support Professionals in their work and relationships with individuals living in a group home setting. They assist in the development of day, residential, activity and behavioral habilitation plans, ensuring staff are informed of and following care plans, and promoting and ensuring a safe and positive environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient operation of a residence
• Provide positive role modeling to individuals receiving services
• Support and supervise Direct Support Professionals
• Assist in developing habilitation plans
• Inform staff of and ensure adherence to care plans
• Promote and maintain a safe and positive environment

Requirements

• Must be 21 years old and have a valid NYS driver's license with 4 points or less
• High School Diploma or GED required with 3 years relevant experience
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in another human service area or in a health care field preferred
• Associates or bachelor degree preferred
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Must successfully complete the OPWDD fingerprinting clearance
