Program Manager (RN) -Comprehensive Stroke Center

About the role

The Program Manager is responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and oversight of the Lee Health Stroke Program. In collaboration with medical and clinical leaders, they lead interdisciplinary efforts in stroke care across Lee Health. They facilitate performance improvement teams and serve as a liaison for stroke program-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Strategic development and implementation of the Lee Health Stroke Program
• Interdisciplinary leadership in clinical excellence for stroke care
• Monitoring and improving program performance
• Setting priorities for comprehensive and primary stroke center development
• Facilitating community and professional education programs
• Managing operations for performance improvement teams
• Serving as a liaison for stroke program-related issues
• Ensuring consistent standards in patient care
• Acting as a staff and patient advocate

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required, master’s degree in nursing or other healthcare-related field and/or business administration preferred
• Minimum of 3 years experience in neuroscience nursing or neuroscience-related nursing field
• Leadership experience in related fields preferred
• Previous primary stroke center or program management experience preferred
• ACLS required
• SCRN, CNRN required within one year of employment
• Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida

• Demonstrated success in program development and operations, performance improvement methodologies, project team facilitation, and/or systems development applications
• Analytical skills to monitor program applications and processes for effectiveness
• Strategic skills to monitor subspecialty trends and developments for program relevance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay

Minimum to midpoint pay rate: $40.56 - $54.76 / hour
