Manager Stroke Program (RN)

Programmatic initiatives for the stroke sub-service line and compliance with Primary Stroke Center certification requirements. Serves as the point of contact for stroke treatment throughout the hospital, working collaboratively with the Stroke Committee Chairman and other key stakeholders on all stroke efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead programmatic initiatives for the stroke sub-service line and ensure compliance with Primary Stroke Center certification requirements.
• Serve as the point of contact for stroke treatment throughout the hospital.
• Collaborate with the Stroke Committee Chairman and other key stakeholders on all stroke-related efforts.
• Function as a clinician, educator, consultant, and researcher to promote quality care for stroke patients.
• Coordinate and manage care of stroke patients to meet multiple service needs, ensure continuity of care, and eliminate fragmentation of care and services across all settings.

Requirements

• Graduate from a nursing program.
• Associate's Degree and five (5) years of recent and relevant clinical experience related to stroke care, or
• Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years of recent and relevant clinical experience related to stroke care, or
• Master's degree (Preferred).
• Three (3) years of recent and relevant clinical experience related to stroke care and a bachelor's degree, or
• Five (5) years of recent and relevant clinical experience related to stroke care and an associate's degree.
• Experience with data analysis and research.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia State Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or NLC/eNLC Multistate Licensure (Required upon hire).
• NIHSS certification (Required upon hire).
• CNRN - Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (Preferred) or
• SCRN - Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (Preferred).
