About the role
The Program Manager is responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and oversight of the Lee Health Stroke Program. They lead interdisciplinary efforts to improve stroke care across Lee Health, set priorities for comprehensive and primary stroke center development, and facilitate performance improvement teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with medical and clinical leaders to ensure clinical excellence in stroke care.
- Monitor and improve program performance through detailed analysis and collaboration with other organization leaders and Medical Staff.
- Develop and facilitate ongoing community and professional education programs related to stroke care.
- Manage operations for performance improvement teams and serve as a liaison for stroke program-related issues.
- Ensure consistent standards guide the provision of patient care.
- Act as a staff and patient advocate.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing required, master’s degree in nursing or other healthcare-related field and/or business administration preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in neuroscience nursing or neuroscience-related nursing field. Leadership experience in related fields preferred.
- Previous primary stroke center or program management experience preferred.
- ACLS required. SCRN, CNRN required within one year of employment.
- Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.
Qualifications
Demonstrated success in program development and operations, performance improvement methodologies, project team facilitation, and/or systems development applications. Analytical skills to monitor program applications and processes for effectiveness. Strategic skills to monitor subspecialty trends and developments for program relevance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
