Program Coordinator, Arts in Healing

About the role

The program coordinator is an active full-time employee of Arts in Healing working within the outpatient sector of MUSC. Time will be split between leading administrative tasks and working as an active creative arts therapist with various clients (adults and children) in diverse settings within the region/hub.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and presenting data
• Leading grant-related requirements
• Providing direction and guidance to outpatient creative art therapy contractors
• Acting as a liaison between community partners and contractors
• Working with management to support and align program growth within the region/hub assigned

Qualifications

• At least 4 years working with diverse populations, including children, adults, and older adults
• Supervisor experience preferred
• A flexible schedule
• Willingness to travel
• Effective communication skills
• Team player
• Enjoys supervising other creative arts therapists
• Organized and mindful of time management
• Excel proficient
• Resourceful and creative

Education

• Masters or doctoral degree in art therapy, music therapy, dance/movement therapy, or drama therapy with active registration (ATR, MT-BC, R-DMT, RDT) with modality-specific national certification board
• Board-certification preferred
