Production Supervisor - 1st Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead, and motivate a team of hourly associates to achieve daily production goals while ensuring a safe working environment.
• Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable through regular feedback, coaching, and performance management.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, identifying and resolving mechanical, process, or system failures to minimize downtime.
• Promote and sustain lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, materials, quality, and engineering to drive process improvements.
• Develop team members to be self-sufficient and take ownership of their roles.
• Monitor productivity, cycle times, and quality metrics to meet production targets.
• Cover planning, scheduling, setup, and execution of production activities.
• Oversee material dispersal and distribution to ensure optimal flow and availability for production.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and process control systems are followed.

Key Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a high-demand, fast-paced environment. Proven experience managing production teams of up to 50 associates. Hands-on experience in production planning, material management, and quality control. Exposure to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices. Experience working with or around CNC machinery is a plus. High-performance team leadership experience preferred.

Shift Details

• 1st Shift: Monday through Saturday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
