Process Technician

Position Summary

This position entails performing technical tests and experiments within the R&D Crystal Growth group. It also entails preparing and setting up of the processing equipment as well as monitoring and processing test runs. This position will also provide technical assistance to engineers and scientists working in the area. Experience in crystal growth is preferred.

The Day-to-Day

• Routine loading and unloading of the equipment used in Crystal Growth.
• Working with the scientists on any additional measurements or work to be done to support the overall R&D projects or department goals.
• Prepare and secure any parts needed as well as dispositioning crystals and parts after the completed runs.

This Job Is Right For You If You Have

• Experience running and troubleshooting manufacturing tools preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Comfortable handling ambiguity and running non-standard processing alongside peers.
• Comfortable collaborating with engineers, scientists, and equipment and process personnel within the Materials Crystal Growth team.
