About the role
Join one of the nation's largest semiconductor fabs in North Austin, where you'll work in a state-of-the-art cleanroom environment supporting the production of advanced chips that power the world. No prior semiconductor experience needed—we provide comprehensive training to set you up for success.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine process checks, inspections, and basic troubleshooting to ensure seamless high-volume chip production.
- Track and manage wafer lots using intuitive computer systems (full training provided—no tech expertise required).
- Operate microscopes, measurement tools, and automated equipment in a controlled cleanroom setting.
- Adhere to precise procedures and safety protocols to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with a supportive team of experienced technicians to keep operations running 24/7.
Requirements
- A technical aptitude with strong attention to detail and a commitment to following step-by-step processes.
- Reliability and the ability to maintain focus during 12-hour shifts while wearing full PPE (cleanroom suit).
- A high school diploma or equivalent; basic math and problem-solving skills.
- An enthusiasm for learning new skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a background check/drug screen.

- Bonus Skills (Not Required): Prior experience in manufacturing, lab work, quality control, or assembly; Familiarity with data entry, inspection tools, or basic metrics tracking; Any hands-on mechanical or technical hobbies (e.g., automotive, electronics, or DIY projects).
