PRN Assistant Detention Center Cook

About the role

Under limited supervision, prepares and serves nutritional meals for inmates of the County Detention Center on a PRN (as needed) basis, providing support during staff shortages.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months of experience working in a commercial kitchen

Pay

Non-exempt, hourly position with a pay range of $21.31 to $24.45, depending on qualifications.

Benefits

• Accrue 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours
