Principal Project Control Specialist (Remote)

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses
• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning
• Analyze financial performance against budget and prior periods, identifying trends and variances
• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
• Create executive-level presentations and dashboards for senior management
• Maintain and enhance financial reporting systems and tools
• Streamline financial processes and improve efficiency through automation
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial reports
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros for financial modeling
• Experience with financial planning software like Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, or SAP BPC
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Data visualization skills using tools like Power BI or Tableau preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting to a non-financial audience
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of related work experience
