Principal Project Control Manager (Remote)

Responsibilities

• Implement standard tracking tools and coordinate deliverables within the project control team
• Maintain weekly updates of financial status and facilitate meetings with PM and Technical Direction Letter leads
• Interface with clients and provide financial reports during regular meetings
• Lead analysis and development of monthly and quarterly forecasts
• Create engineering cost estimates for incoming Technical Direction Letters
• Cook up staffing requirements and train personnel
• Supervise project control activities and complete performance reviews

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Finance or Business Management or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of Federal Government Project Controls experience
• Familiarity with industry practices
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, financial modeling)
• Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, SAP BPC)
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Knowledge of project accounting and earned value management (EVM)

Pay

$134,100 – $241,400 annually
