Principal Project Control Manager (Remote)
Job Description
Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Principal Project Control Manager to lead a highly visible growth portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of project control specialists and compiling and reviewing the top-level financial performance and forecasts across the portfolio of Technical Direction Letters. Working directly with program managers, you will provide guidance, direction, and resolution for complex financial challenges.
Responsibilities
- Implementing standard tracking tools and coordinating deliverables and tasking within the project control team
- Maintaining weekly updates of financial status and running the meeting with PM and Technical Direction Letter leads
- Interfacing with clients, attending regular meetings, and providing financial reports
- Leading in the analysis, evaluation, and development of monthly and quarterly forecasts
- Creating engineering cost estimates for incoming Technical Direction Letters
- Cooking staffing requirements, assigning and supervising project work activities, and training personnel
- Completing performance reviews and providing personnel development
- Accumulating and accessing historical data for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting
- Customizing project control systems to meet specific project requirements
- Performing other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
Required Skills
- 4-year degree in Finance or Business Management or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of Federal Government Project Controls experience
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, financial modeling)
- Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, SAP BPC)
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Knowledge of project accounting and earned value management (EVM)
- Understanding of government contract accounting (FAR/CAS) preferred for government contractors

$134,100.00 - $241,400.00
