Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Project Controls Engineer/Specialist to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems.
  • Interface with clients, attend regular meetings, and provide statistical reports.
  • Provide project and company management with the necessary tools for project cost control.
  • Develop the work breakdown structure, interface with all affected departments.
  • Analyze, evaluate, forecast, and report schedule status against an established baseline.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and forecast project costs and performance.
  • Cookstaff staffing requirements, assign and supervise project work activities, and train personnel.
  • Complete performance reviews and provide personnel development for the assigned employees.
  • Accumulate and access historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting.
  • May lead a staff qualified to assess the impact(s) of design/construction changes and schedule slippages.
  • Develop or maintain an established system to show the hierarchy of plans and schedules; keep project and company management fully informed.
  • Cooksite customize project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of related work experience.
  • Basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field.
  • Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have potential to perform in a lead capacity, as well as familiarity with industry practices.

Qualifications

  • US Person with a Security Clearance Requirement.

Pay

Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
