Project Controls Engineer/Specialist, Principal (Remote)
Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Project Controls Engineer/Specialist to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult and complex project control problems.
- Interface with clients, attend regular meetings, and provide statistical reports.
- Provide project and company management with the necessary tools for project cost control.
- Develop the work breakdown structure, interface with all affected departments.
- Analyze, evaluate, forecast, and report schedule status against an established baseline.
- Analyze, evaluate, and forecast project costs and performance.
- Cookstaff staffing requirements, assign and supervise project work activities, and train personnel.
- Complete performance reviews and provide personnel development for the assigned employees.
- Accumulate and access historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting.
- May lead a staff qualified to assess the impact(s) of design/construction changes and schedule slippages.
- Develop or maintain an established system to show the hierarchy of plans and schedules; keep project and company management fully informed.
- Cooksite customize project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of related work experience.
- Basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field.
- Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have potential to perform in a lead capacity, as well as familiarity with industry practices.
Qualifications
- US Person with a Security Clearance Requirement.
Pay
Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
